Blog Update
I just wanted to let you guys that actually read this blog know that I am on an educational sabbatical finshing my BA in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis in Christian Leadership. Currently the church services have guest preachers including our staff, deacons, elders, bishop and missionaries. I am not at church on Wednesdays, but am available and present on Sundays. Today, we had one of the most powerful services in the history of the church. The church is also experiencing our greatest Wednesday youth and children's programs and some of the largest crowds on the weekends as well. We thank God for all that is happening. With God's help we are hiring a new associate pastor of pastoral care as of March 2, making 3 full time ministers on staff. I encourage you not to stay away as I am continuing my education. I beleive that each service without me or without my preaching has been a quality worship experiencing. Some of them have been incredible. We expect this to continue to be the norm. We are building a new 4,400 sq. youth center ASAP. Architectual plans will hopefully be revealed on this coming Sunday (if they are complete.) To God be the glory. Great things He has done and great things He is doing! While away, Pastor Kirk is on call for you. On any Sunday I will be glad and excited to meet you in person. Come experience a great church in Cantonment. We are riding the wave of God's Spirit as He takes us into a new season of growth in everyway. I expect to be back in about 2 more weeks, then later I will take one more week off in the month of March or April to work further on the degree.
